...are devices for chemical unit operations which can be freely combined. Also multi-steps reactions are possible in this way:
- fast, exothermic reactions: mainly executed in mixer/heat exchangers. Fluitec is able to predict the temperature profile very exact, what is of especial interest if producing e.g. explosives.
- very strong exothermic, but temperature sensitive reactions: loop- and cascade-reactors serve many advantages. Even radical induced reactions can be controlled.
- slow, but residence time critical reactions: maintaining very narrow residence time distributions and high Bodenstein numbers, due to the absolute control over the fluid dynamics.
- multiphase reactions: improving the mass transfer rates
- many other types of reactions
Fluitec uses its vast practical and theoretical experience in combination with powerful software tools, to find the suitable types of reactors and to define the appropriate dimensions.
