In order to fulfil the high demands of the plastic industry, it is of high importance to keep an eye already on the processing steps of the polymer melts. A perfect homogeneity of concentration and temperature are the basis for geometrically accurate shapes, evenly distributed colours and to avoid unwanted surface structures. The polymer melts must therefore be well homogenised after leaving the extruder. Additives like dyes, fire-inhibiting agents, UV-stabilizers, softeners, etc. must be perfectly mixed with the polymer melt. The static mixer type CSE-X is the suitable device to cope with these demands. Its high performance allows a significant reduction of the additive concentration, thus amortisation is completed in a short time.
