Privacy Policy

Under Article 13 of the Federal Constitution and the provisions of Swiss data protection legislation (Federal Data Protection Act, DSG), everyone has the right to the protection of their privacy as well as to protection from misuse of their personal data. We comply with these provisions. Personal data are treated strictly confidentiality and are neither passed on nor sold to third parties.

We may ask you to provide us with personal data while using our web pages. Such information is provided on a voluntary basis. Data supplied to us by email is not encrypted for transmission. The risk that electronically transmitted data may be accessed or modified by unauthorised persons cannot be completely ruled out.

We will only store data about you for the purpose of processing your enquiries; your data will not be disclosed to anyone else. You may prohibit the use of your data at any time in writing or by sending us an email.

Hosting

When you visit our web pages, data such as your IP address, the date and time, the browser request and general information on your operating system or browser are stored by our hosting provider. These usage data form the basis for anonymous statistical analyses. Please also refer to the Privacy Policy of our provider, Hostpoint. The aforementioned data are stored on servers in Switzerland and are subject to the rigorous provisions of Swiss data protection legislation (Federal Data Protection Act, DSG).

Use of Cookies

When you visit our website, temporary files and Cookies are placed on your computer. You can block cookies and other, similar technologies in your browser settings. However, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. We recommend that you delete cookies and temporary files stored on your browser after visiting our website.

We also advise you not to store any form fields or passwords on your browser.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”), to help the website analyse comprehensively how users use the site. On this website Google Analytics is supplemented by _anonymizelp to ensure anonymised collection of IP addresses (IP masking). Google Analytics collects personal data anonymously, and the website trends it produces contain no information on individual visitors. The information generated by cookies will be transmitted to and stored on servers in the United States. Google may transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google.

Please also see the Google Analytics Terms of Service. You can prohibit Google Analytics from using your data by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on for the Google Analytics JavaScript.

Use of Google reCaptcha

Our website uses the Google Inc. (Google) reCAPTCHA service to protect any web forms you submit to us. This service distinguishes between a human user filling out a text form and automated abuse (bots). A request is sent to Google containing your IP address as well as any other data required by the reCAPTCHA service. Your input is communicated to Google for this purpose and used there. By using reCAPTCHA, you give your consent for your text recognition entry to be used by Google for the digitisation of old books, etc. If, however, you activate the “anonymizeIp” option on this website, Google will remove the end of your IP address so it only locates you as within the member states of the European Union or other members of the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the United States and shortened there. Google will use this information to evaluate how you use the website on behalf of the operator of this website. Google will never associate your IP address as transmitted by reCAPTCHA from your browser with any other data held by Google. The divergent data protection rules of Google apply here. For more information on Google’s data protection rules, follow this link: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.
